Musical genuis, comedy, and real messages has all clashed together this past year when the orginal rock band Section 1211 formed. Section 1211 is a six man group, put together by musicians of different backrounds that share the same love for the music they play. It is composed of Justin: Rythm/lead Guitar, Keyboard, Andrew: Vocals, Rythm Guitar, Dan: Rythm/Lead Guitar, Nick: Drums, Mike: Bass & Brendan: Vocals. Their inspirations range from Tenacious D to Led Zeppelin to Talking Heads. They make real songs with real meanings, but with a funny overlook so the listener can learn something while laughing. Now as Section 1211 approuches their peek in creativity they wish to share their music with the rest of world.

*The Battle Of The Bands was amazing, prob the most energic show we have ever done (thanks red bull)Yet...we didnt win, or even come close...:( The voting system was a little messed up knowing people could vote after each band played, leaving us last with most people gone and votes done before we went on. The votes were practicully counted when we were done. But the show must go on! And it did. For the 30 or so people lol we played for, thank you so much, for you are our true fans that stuck it out to hear us after everyone in this dark, cold, rainy night. It was fun, maybe next time. Yet June 13 2003 will go down in 1211 history.

*Congrats to Silent Fury, the winners of the Battle of the Bands, they were truly awesome.
We will start work on our next cd this summer, but don' worry we are stil going to do plenty of shows.
